Policies

This Contract, made and entered into on the date of registration by and between Opportunity Prep (hereinafter referred to as "Opportunity Prep") and the minor student and their guardians (hereinafter referred to as "Student" and "Guardian" respectively), in the State of Utah.


  1. Before registering for the course, the Student and Guardian are required to read and understand the policies of Opportunity Prep. The course contract will be sent for signatures after registration.


  1. Opportunity Prep agrees to provide test preparation services to the Student for 15 hours of instruction, which does not include homework. The course will include classes, homework assignments, and other materials as deemed necessary by Opportunity Prep.


  1. In the event that the Student is unable to attend a scheduled class, arrangements must be made in advance to make up the class during the same week in an open space in the same week class or an online class.


  1. Payment is due at registration. If the student or guardian is unsatisfied with the instruction after the first class and requests a refund within 24 hours of the completion of the first class, a 80% refund will be issued for the remainder of the course. No refunds will be given after the second class.

  2. Students are required to create an account on MyACT at https://my.act.org/account/signin?location=https://my.act.org and purchase "The Official Self-Paced Course powered by Kaplan" for $119. This is where they will access their homework and official ACT practice tests between live sessions.


  1. The Student will be required to complete homework assignments as a part of the course.


  1. Opportunity Prep reserves the right to ask any disruptive student to leave the course without a refund of tuition.


  1. Opportunity Prep makes no guarantee of individual student scores and test results may vary by student.


  1. This contract contains the entire understanding of the parties and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous agreements and understandings, whether oral or written, with respect to the subject matter of this contract.


  1. This contract shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the parties hereto and their respective successors and assigns.


  1. This contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Utah.


  1. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this contract shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution procedures set forth in the agreement or through legal proceedings in the State of Utah.
